Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way. All the ways of the Lord are loving and are faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant. - Psalm 25:8-10
The Butterfly Project- If you are having trouble with self harm, here’s what you do.
The rules are:
- When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpies and draw a butterfly on your arm or hand (or wherever the self injury occurs)
- Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.
- You must let the butterfly fade naturally. NO scrubbing it off.
- If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you’ve killed it. If you dont cut, it lives. If you have more than one butterfly, cutting kills all of them.
- Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special. Take good care of them.
If you are struggling with self harm, it is never too late. It is a growing and widespread problem across the world. This is helpful, but if not affective, PLEASE seek further help. You are special and loved by your creator, there are brighter days ahead. This is for my anon, and its also for those of you out there who haven’t spoken out, your voice in the wilderness will be heard.

“You have only one model, Jesus. Follow, follow, follow him, step by step, imitating him, sharing his life in every way.”
-Charles de Foucauld
When was the last time you imagined God doing something supernatural in your life? Is there a relationship that needs restoration? Is there a business you’ve wanted to start, but you are holding back? If there were no limitations on your life, if anything were possible, what would you be willing to imagine?
Friend, the only limits on your life are the limits you have in your mind, and God wants to do exceedingly more than you can even imagine today! He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness and amaze you with His faithfulness. But in order for Him to exceed what you’ve imagined, you have to at least be imagining something! Why don’t you take a step of faith today and let your imagination come to life? Begin to see in your mind all the possibilities for your future. Meditate on the amazing things God has done throughout history. Let that seed of faith take root in your heart. Hold on to His promises because He is faithful. He is able to exceed your expectations and go beyond what you can imagine today!
Everyone goes through seasons when the challenges of life feel overwhelming. During these times, it’s easy to be tempted to talk about how bad things are. Maybe you are facing a situation right now that looks impossible. Don’t get discouraged and give up because God wants to do something awesome in your life. Instead of talking to God about how big your problems are, talk to your problems about how big your God is. Be bold and start speaking words of faith to that situation. Every day say, “Father, thank you for turning this around. Thank You for making a way even though I don’t see a way. Lord, thank you for doing remarkable, astounding, and overwhelming things.” When you release your faith like that, you’ll see God show up and do amazing things that you’ve never seen happen before!
Remember, even if you don’t see how things could ever work out, God does. Just do your part and keep speaking to those mountains in your life. Declare faith over those situations and get ready to move forward in the victory and blessing God has prepared for you!
